Programme Manager
The Programme Manager’s primary is to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of TIG programmes. S/he recruits and manages programme staff, develops and delivers training, oversees programme delivery, develops and implements the safety and risk management system and interfaces with other departments. The Programme Manager makes recommendations for changes to programmes, standard operating procedures (including safety and first response practices) and programme staffing. This is a key managerial role in the company. It is suitable for dynamic leaders who have excellent interpersonal skills, solid field instructing experience and are able to work with all ages.

Junior Programme Leader
These positions are for young adults who are looking for field experience working overseas to gain professional development in group management, adventure programmes and activity leading. This opportunity allows you to work in all sectors of our organisation, facilitating programs for clients of all ages. This is a great opportunity to meet people from around the world. The primary role of a Junior Leader is to deliver school programmes, assist on corporate teambuilding programmes and with special events as part of a team. Leaders prepare materials for programmes and assist in the care of equipment and other resources. In summer, this will consist of leading surf camp; the fall season is focused on adventure-based programmes with community service, creative and environmental activities. Throughout leaders will lead activities for corporate training programmes and overall TIG duties such as: service in Ooh La La restaurant, campsite and equipment maintenance, support of family camps and programme preparation. .

Programme Leader
This is a role for individuals who already have at least six months of experience in group management, adventure programmes and activity leading. It is the entry-level instructor position for outdoor/adventure- or education-related degree/diploma-holders. It is an opportunity to assume greater responsibility and acquire more training on the programme team. The primary role of a Programme Leader is to instruct recreational lessons, summer surf camp, school camp and corporate teambuilding programmes. Leaders prepare materials for programmes and assist in the care of equipment and other resources. They are team leaders in summer and fall, particularly in programme support roles and during special events.

Every year, from March to mid-December, TIG welcomes an international team of dynamic outdoor and adventure leaders. We are looking for high-quality, knowledgeable individuals with a passion for helping children, youth and adults develop through outdoor, adventure and environmental activities.
Programme staff run activities with primary and secondary school groups, summer surf and adventure camps and corporate teambuilding clients. All candidates must have qualification and/or experience in wilderness first aid and leading outdoor and adventure group initiatives and teambuilding. Leaders with additional technical skills in the following areas are preferred: kayaking, surfing, rock climbing, mountain-biking, low and high ropes courses, facilitation, ecology, environmental education, gardening, Cantonese/Mandarin.

Leaders support programmes through campsite and equipment maintenance, support of family camps and also provide service in Ooh La La! restaurant.
