Adventure Camp. ( All 4 seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter )
Got adventure sports in your veins?
This is a week-long day camp for adventurers who want to experience a variety of exciting outdoor pursuits as well as develop outdoor leadership skills such as trip preparation, equipment and material checks and group organisation. Adventure Camp has different activities every day, in various locations on Lantau. Lunch and two snacks a day are included. Adventure Campers must be capable and confident swimmers with good overall fitness and stamina.
Grommet’s & Intermediate Surf Camp ( 1 Season: Summer only)
This is an ideal day camp for beginner and intermediate surfers. Grommet’s are ages 5-9 and intermediates are ages 9-12. The Grommet camp includes 3 hours surfing and 1 hour land-based session of beach safety, ocean education and fun & games every day. Surfers return home every evening and all pick up and drop off are at the Central Ferry Pier No.6. Lunch and snacks are included. All surfers receive a group photo and any additional surf photos are uploaded on our Facebook page for individual orders. Surfer should be capable and confident swimmer

New! PICK UP & DROP OFF
Tung Chung & Central
Children will be picked up from Central Star Ferry #7 every morning at 8:00am and dropped off every afternoon at 4:30pm at the same place. All children are required to be signed in and out each morning and afternoon by a parent or approved guardian over the age of 18. It’s imperative you arrive on time.
A private coach will pick up and drop off all participants from Central Star Ferry #7. There will also be an additional pickup/drop-off point at Tung Chung MTR station. Please note an additional $500 per week ($100 per day) is added to the total price. (no more octopus money required)
Days 1 – 4: Children will be picked up from Central Star Ferry #7 at 8:30am and 9:15am from Tung Chung Bus Station. They will stay overnight on Day 4 so no pick-up on Day 5 required.
Days 1 – 3 and Day 5: Children will be dropped off at Tung Chung MTR at approx. 3:45pm and Central Star Ferry #7 at 4:30pm.
If you live on Lantau, children can be signed in at Treasure Island on Pui O Beach at 9:30am and signed out at 3:00pm. Please inform us ahead of time as we will have to make a note on our sign in sheet.
SAFETY & SUPERVISION
Surf Safety is our number 1 priority. All instructors are first aid certified and have undergone onsite training and assessments to operate our activities. Supervision is monitored through our risk assessments and ratios are set for each of our activities. The instructor to surfer ratio in the water is 1:3 for Grommets; dry land activities are at a 1:15 ratio. Camp has scheduled sunscreen and water breaks. Pui O Beach is a gazetted beach with LCSD lifeguards on duty. Surf camp includes contingency activities for poor weather conditions. TIG reserves the right to modify or cancel activities as necessary for the well-being of campers.
WHAT TO BRING IN A COMFORTABLE BACKPACK (15-20L MAX) EVERY DAY
- Rain jacket
- Wet clothes (rash guard / T-shirt, sports shorts / sports leggings and swimsuit)
- Wet shoes – must protect the toes (old pair of trainers or water-shoes)
- Microfiber towel
- Plastic bag for wet clothes
- Mosquito repellent (spray, cream or wristband – no stickers)

WHAT TO WEAR EVERY DAY
- T-shirt and shorts
- Closed toe shoes (not crocs) and socks
WHAT NOT TO BRING
- Phone or electronic devices (unless you have opted for your child who is over 13 years old to sign themselves in/out)
- Food containing peanuts or shellfish (we provide all food and snacks on camp)
- Sharp objects / knives
- Tent for Day 4 (also provided by us)
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- All seasons camp pass is only valid for one participant and is not transferable.
- All seasons camp pass can only be redeemed once per season. Eg. you can not use all 4 camps in the same season.
- Spaces in each week are subject to availability. Please register your child well in advance to secure your spot in the desired week.
CANCELLATIONS & POSTPONEMENTS
Where TIG cancels a day of Adventure Camp, a make-up day will be provided. In the case of a government cancellation (T8, Black rain, etc), no refund will be issued, however there will be a makeup day available. If you decide to withdraw from a camp, please inform Treasure Island no later than 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp. Otherwise, a late cancellation fee of $500 will apply.
T3, Lighting & Red Rain storms, Treasure Island will still operate and provide contingency activities throughout the day. We follow Hong Kong Observatory guidelines and WindGuru .
REFUNDS & CHANGE OF DATES
TIG will charge $500 admin fee on all refunds and change of camp dates. Treasure Island will only provide refunds If your child is unwell and unable to attend, TIG require proof of a medical certificate from a registered doctor.
